23rd Annual NJ Land Conservation Rally: Conservation Innovations in a Changing World Conference
Registration is now open for the New Jersey Conservation Foundation’s 23rd Annual NJ Land Conservation Rally – Conservation Innovations in a Changing World – on Friday, April 12, 2019 in New Brunswick. Register now.
During this one-day conference, participants can explore various panel conversations about preserving open space in New Jersey, including topics that support communities working to promote better health through strategies to address the built environment. In addition to panels on “Revving up the Complete & Green Streets Movements with a New Model Policy and Guide,” and “Improving Land Use at Your Local School District,” the agenda offers conversations about the benefits of using green infrastructure and nature-based strategies to improve resiliency, as well as a case study in transforming urban lands into green spaces to support community health and stimulate reinvestment.
During the conference, join NJHI Director Bob Atkins and philanthropic partners from the Community Foundation of NJ, the Victoria Foundation, the Stone Foundation of NJ and the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation for an afternoon funders’ panel focused on emerging priorities and trends regarding environmental grantmaking.
