During the conference, join NJHI Deputy Director of Programs Diane Hagerman for the morning panel “The Balancing Act of Planning, Partners, Programs and Policy.” She will serve as the moderator while community coalitions from Perth Amboy and Elizabeth share how they have been able to balance the long-term focus on policy change while still managing the day-to-day planning and program delivery through the support of strong multi-sector partnerships. Healthy Places by Design, strategic partners for communities and those who invest in them, helping turn visions of health into equitable and lasting impact will bring a national perspective to the conversation.
Panelists include:
Steve Jobin, Raritan Bay Area YMCA President/CEO and NJHI Project Director of the Healthier Perth Amboy Coalition,
Alane McCahey, Senior Director of Community Initiatives, The Gateway Family YMCA and NJHI Project Director of Shaping Elizabeth Community Health Initiative,
