In 2013, New Jersey Health Initiatives gave a grant to the New Jersey Hospital Association to hire and train unemployed military veterans as certified application counselors to educate and enroll residents in health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. This work continues today, along with additional programs focused on our state’s veterans.
