Tweet, Post Photos of Healthier Living in NJ for New #HealthyNJContest
From now until June 2, the New Jersey YMCA State Alliance (NJYMCA) encourages New Jersey residents to share photos of how they are creating opportunities to live a healthier life for a chance to win $500 for the local nonprofit of their choice.
The #HealthyNJContest showcases on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook how communities across New Jersey are making health a shared value, creating healthier, more equitable communities and working in cross-sector collaboration to improve well-being. All submitted photos will be considered for inclusion on the NJYMCA website, and three entries will earn a $500 grant for the NJ nonprofits tagged within those social media posts.
Examples of eligible photos include images of a ribbon-cutting on an affordable housing project, a group volunteering to clean up the neighborhood park, or shopping at a farmers’ market.
Photos posted to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook are eligible, as long as each post meets these criteria:
- uses the #HealthyNJContest tag
- mentions the New Jersey YMCA State Alliance using @njymca
- includes the name or social media handle of the New Jersey nonprofit you would like to nominate for one of the $500 prizes
