Grant Award Amount
$369,880

This community-based, afterschool and weekend program promotes educational and job readiness/employment opportunities for 150 male students, ages 14 to 18, at greatest risk of engaging in health-risking social behaviors that jeopardize their productive future at New Brunswick High School. In partnership with the New Brunswick Board of Education and the New Brunswick Hub Teen Center, the approach uses one-on-one and group mentoring/counseling programs to engage students in a variety of activities outside the traditional classroom.
