The Educational Information and Resource Center (EIRC) is implementing “Making Safe Dates Possible,” a multi-tiered project to address the need for healthy relationship education and dating violence awareness in Burlington County and throughout the state of New Jersey.
Through the Willingboro High School School Based Youth Services Program, the Safe Dates curriculum is presented in all incoming freshman health classes each year. The curriculum was also presented to 950 seventh and eighth grade students in year one, and will continue to be presented to 450 seventh grade students in subsequent years.
Partner agencies include Willingboro High School, Center for Family Guidance, PC, the Burlington County Health Department, the Willingboro Public Library and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Burlington County.
