Zufall Health Center has partnered with the Morris County Organization of Hispanic Affairs to develop and implement a health literacy curriculum in established, successful computer literacy and English as a Second Language classes in Dover and Morristown. The new health literacy effort enhances communication between patients and their doctors, encourage members of the community to select a primary care provider, educate individuals as to when to visit their primary care provider versus a hospital emergency room, and help participants learn to read and understand medication labels.
