To educate adolescents on establishing healthy relationships and address the issue of teen dating violence, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is delivering the Safe Dates curriculum over a three-year period, serving 1,500 ninth grade students (500 annually) in Hudson and Union Counties.
Staff works with Marist High School (Bayonne), Benedictine Academy (Elizabeth), St. Patrick’s High School (Elizabeth), St. Joseph of the Palisades High School (West New York), and Roselle Catholic High School (Roselle).  The complete school communities are being served, as the students, personnel and parents are all being educated on Safe Dates.
