Americans spend one-third of their time at work. With the goal of promoting healthy behaviors and preventing chronic illness, the New Jersey Department of Health developed the Working Well in New Jersey toolkit for New Jersey businesses that want to create a culture of wellness—through a well-designed worksite wellness program—for their employees. This toolkit teaches best practices that increase productivity, reduce absenteeism, lower accidents, and reduce turnover.
Interested employers must complete a brief 15-minute survey to receive the free New Jersey Worksite Wellness Toolkit. The survey can be accessed here.
