Clayton in Motion: Swoosh!

NJHI 2020: Small Communities Forging Hyperlocal Data Collaboratives Clayton in Motion: Using Data to Improve Community Health and Wellness

Through our community’s hard work and patience, we successfully completed our first project in July. The Clayton community now has access to a brand new basketball court located at Herma Simmons Elementary School. This revitalized space allows people in our borough to have easier access to social connections within open spaces and physical fitness activities, which will help to improve the health and health equity in the community. We are looking ahead to the second year of our work through the Small Communities Forging Hyperlocal Data Collaboratives initiative and beyond, and welcome ideas and input from throughout South Jersey and our state.
